Hello and thank you for visiting my blog. Why blog? – you may ask. Well, like many of you , I too have opinions and ideas on just about everything. And, like many of you, I too want to inflict as much of these musings onto weary, unsuspecting web surfers who stumble upon my  blog, MMMWWAHAHAHA .

What business does an aspiring opera singer have spreading unsolicited ideas onto the blogosphere? The easy and honest answer to that question is NONE. My opinions, ideas and thoughts are as inconsequential to the dynamics of our society as the next blogophile’s. I am dumbfounded at how some have made careers, became celebrities(Perez Hilton) and even had movies made of their blogging(Julie and Julia). I have no such illusions about this particular endeavor and have come to a decision to focus the theme of this blog on my one enduring passion: MUSIC.

As some of you may have already guessed, I am a tenor, an opera singer and like so many in my field, I too am struggling. So this blog will be about my forays into the opera world: My performances, auditions, triumphs and, more often than I’d like, failures. Hopefully, I can learn something from my own blogs, as writing tends to be cathartic, and impart some “food for thought” through my experiences and cautionary tales. I would also like to talk about singers, composers and musicians I admire. I would like to state that I will strive to be positive on this blog, but I can’t promise that. I think that most of you will be bored to death of this blog otherwise. I will try to be fair and objective in my reviews and commentaries – although they’re inherently subjective and utterly unfair. But most of all, I will try to keep this interesting – even at the risk of being catty, MEOW! So here I venture on – to infinity and beyond! Ugh, what a nerd?!
